DJ Cuca started his career as a DJ when he was just 14 years old. At the age of 16, he made remixes and magamixes for Rádios de São Paulo. His beginnings as a music producer was in the 90s with the Rap and Hip Hop genres. Cuca became one of the biggest producers in the national rap scene at the time.

He was twice champion of DJ's by DMC and three-time South American champion of DJ's by Numark.

In the late 90's, Cuca chose to change his musical style and started to produce and remix Pop artists for independent labels and for major global labels such as: Warner Music, Sony Music, BMG and Universal Music.

Cuca has produced and remixed renowned international artists such as: Shaggy, Inner Circle, Celine Dion, Laura Pausini, Gary Barlow, Toni Braxton, Lauryn Hill, Wiclef Jean, Shakira, LighHouse Family, N Sync, Andreas Bocelli, Amadeo Ming, Ricky Martin, Donato & Stefano, All Saints, Thalia, Jimmy Clif. among others.

And also national artists such as: Kid Abelha, Skank, J Quest, Kelly Key, Latino, Edi Rock, Tulio Dek, Luiza Possi, André Leono, among others.

Today, in addition to producing renowned national artists, Cuca teaches his Music Production Course.
